Jackie Marcus is a Vice President with Alpha IR Group, a boutique investor relations agency with offices in Boston, New York and Chicago. Jackie has nearly a decade of experience implementing investor relations programs, as well as providing special situations counsel including IPOs, spin-offs, shareholder activism, and M&A support across multiple sectors. Prior to joining Alpha IR, Ms. Marcus was a Senior Account Supervisor in Edelman’s Financial Communications & Capital Markets practice in New York, and a Senior Consultant with FTI Consulting in San Francisco. Ms. Marcus began her career with Affiliated Managers Group (NYSE: AMG) on the North Shore.

Ms. Marcus holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, as well as a M.A. in Investor Relations from the University of San Francisco.

Adam Bromley, CFA , is Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance and Director of Investor Relations at Boston Private Financial Holdings (NASDAQ: BPFH), a wealth management, trust and private banking company based in Boston. Adam manages Boston Private’s investor relations program and works with the Executive Management team on the Company’s corporate development and strategic initiatives. Prior to his current role, Adam was Treasury Manager at Boston Private where he managed the company’s securities portfolio, derivatives program, and wholesale funding.

Adam received his MBA from the Boston University Questrom School of Business and his BA in Economics from Boston University. Adam is a CFA charterholder.

Geoffrey Grande, CFA, is an accomplished communications executive with nearly 20 years of experience leading investor relations, corporate communications/public relations, market research and capital markets consulting programs. He currently serves as Vice President, Head of Investor Relations at Solid Biosciences (Nasdaq: SLDB), a life science company focused on solving Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Prior to joining Solid, Geoff was Head of Communications at Merrimack Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: MACK), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on biomarker-defined cancers. Before Merrimack, Geoff was an Assistant Vice President at the strategic communications consulting firm FD, where he counseled clients across the healthcare, technology, finance and manufacturing industries on their investor relations initiatives. He also served as a Senior Analyst at AMR Research, a technology-focused market research and advisory firm, where he catered the firm’s research to the investment community. Geoff began his investor relations career performing equity surveillance at the Carson Group, a capital markets intelligence provider.

Geoff is a CFA charterholder and holds a B.A. in Economics from Trinity College.

Jamie A. Bernard, IRC, is a senior associate at Sharon Merrill Associates, a strategic investor relations and critical communications advisory firm. She counsels clients on a broad range of investor relations issues, including corporate positioning, financial disclosure, investor day planning, analyst and investor targeting, competitive intelligence, ESG communication strategies and online communications. Jamie represents clients in a variety of industries including energy, environmental services, industrial, life sciences, oil and gas, consulting and technology.

She received her Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) in 2016 and received the Higgins Scholarship award in 2016 and in 2019 from the Boston Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute. This award recognizes select individuals that best demonstrate their desire to continue his or her study of investor relations. In June 2019 Jamie was awarded as part of NIRI’s inaugural class of the “40 Under 40” recognition program, which honors “the most talented young individuals in the investor relations community.” Jamie earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration in Finance and Banking from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Andy Blanchard is the Vice President of Corporate Relations at Teradyne, Inc (NYSE: NASDAQ), a supplier of automatic test equipment for semiconductor devices, electronics systems, wireless products and the leading provider of collaborative robots used in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Andy is responsible for Teradyne’s investor relations and corporate communications, a position he has held since 2009. In his 20+ year career at Teradyne, he has held various semiconductor test sales and management positions.

Andy is a graduate of WPI and the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Rob Bradley, IRC, is the Vice President of Investor Relations at LogMeIn, a Boston headquartered company that is one of the largest software as a service companies in the world with more than two million subscribers and one billion dollars in revenue. Prior to joining LogMeIn in 2011, Rob was employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he participated in a management training program, culminating in a position on the investor relations team. Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific he attended the Carroll School of Management at Boston College where he received his MBA. Rob started his career in finance with introductory roles at State Street and Columbia Management, after serving in the Peace Corps for two years in Ukraine. He lives in Needham with his wife and three children.

Steve Cantor is currently vice president of corporate relations for Entegris, Inc., a global provider of yield-enhancing materials and solutions used in the world’s most advanced high-technology manufacturing processes. Steve is responsible for the company’s investor relations, public relations, and employee communications. Steve’s career with Entegris began in 2002 when he joined Massachusetts-based Mykrolis, one of Entegris’ predecessor companies, as its director of investor relations and corporate communications. Before joining Mykrolis, he was director of investor relations for Acterna Corporation, a provider of communications test equipment. In addition to his role in investor relations at Acterna, he performed various treasury and finance functions. Steve began his career with Analog Devices, a leading maker of specialized semiconductor devices.

Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Connie Chandler founded IR Strategies to provide strategic communications and investor relations to business owners who want to be known and trusted by their key stakeholders. As a senior-level investor relations professional, she has a proven record of generating successful communication strategies for both start-up companies and large established organizations. Connie has worked across a variety of industries including technology, medical devices, renewable energy and education to develop compelling narratives and high-trust relationships with Wall Street.

She holds a M.S. in Communication and Society from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in Speech and Rhetoric from Colorado State University. Her published articles include “Investor Relations from the Perspective of CEOs” in the International Journal of Strategic Communication (2014) and a chapter entitled “More than a Zero-Sum Game: Integrating Investor and Public Relations to Navigate Conflict with Activist Investors” in The Handbook of Financial Communication and Investor Relations (2018).

Connie has been a NIRI member for over 20 years and was a founding member of the chapter in Orange County, California.

Previously, James served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Demandware, the industry-leading provider of enterprise cloud commerce solutions, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2016. He also served as Vice President of Investor Relations at PTC, a global provider of software to discrete manufacturers used to design, operate, and service complex products. Prior to his career in investor relations, James spent 14 years as a sell-side equity research analyst, 13 of which were at UBS, where he served as a Director and senior analyst. While at UBS, he specialized in the coverage of the global technology industry, both as a technology strategist and a research analyst covering the communications equipment industry. James holds a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of Pennsylvania.

After graduate school, Mark Kinarney spent nine years in equity research covering the wireless telecommunications services industry. After several years away, Mark returned to the sell side to work in corporate access for four years. From 2014 - 2016, Mark was on the NIRI NY Board serving in multiple roles including Treasurer and Programs. Mark served on the Membership Committee of the NIRI Silicon Valley Board in 2018 while working in Investor Relations for Foster City biotech, Gilead Sciences. In late December 2018, Mark joined Lantheus Medical Imaging where he is Director, Investor Relations.

Robert Sanders, is a Director of Investor relations for Mimecast Ltd. – MIME,  a global email and data security company.  Robert  has been with Mimecast since 2015 and aided in the company’s public flotation in the fall of that year.  Prior to Mimecast Robert worked with institutional investors as a registered representative beginning in the mid 90’s at firms including Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, and Pacific Crest Securities.  Robert specialized in technology research and underwriting and participated in many notable IPO’s including Amazon and Salesforce.  Robert brings insight from experiences working across the investment landscape, including a period writing primary research.

Carlo Tanzi Ph.D., IRC, is principal and co-founder of Kendall Investor Relations, a biotech focused IR consulting firm. Carlo was most recently Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications at Seres Therapeutics, and member of the leadership team. He continues to provide IR services to Seres.

Previously, Carlo worked at Biogen as Director of Investor Relations. Earlier in his career, Carlo was Program Management Lead at Biogen for both the Tecfidera and Tysabri programs. Carlo began his career as a healthcare management consultant at Health Advances. He earned his BA from the University of Rochester in biology and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in cell and molecular biology. Carlo is the 2017 recipient of the NIRI Boston Higgins scholarship award.

Carlo lives in Weston, MA with his wife, two boys and dog. He enjoys riding his bike, reading, and travelling.

Jane McCahon, Honorary Director

Jane McCahon oversees the investor relations and corporate governance activities of TDS and its publicly traded subsidiary, U.S. Cellular. McCahon joined TDS in 2009 as vice president of corporate relations, and became corporate secretary in 2013. Before joining TDS, McCahon was a principal with Massachusetts-based Conway Communications, which developed investor relations programs for a diverse range of companies. Prior to that, she was vice president of corporate relations for Eastern Enterprises in Weston, MA, and served as manager of investor relations for Waban, Inc. (now BJ’s Wholesale Club). McCahon is a member of the Society of Corporate Secretaries & Governance Professionals, and a member and former chair of NIRI. She is a co-founder and former chair of the NIRI Ethics Council, and has also served on the NIRI Senior Roundtable Steering Committee. McCahon received a BA in economics and finance from Bentley College and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.


Karen Warren, Honorary Director


Karen Warren retired in 2010, after 25 years in investor relations, as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations at Hasbro, Inc. Prior to joining Hasbro, Karen was Senior Vice President (SVP) of IR at State Street Corporation in Boston. Before that, she held senior level IR positions at Shiva Corp, FTP Software, and was SVP of Corporate Communications and Strategic Planning at Sterling Bancshares Corporation and Sterling Bank.

She is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). She is former Chairman of the Board of Directors of NIRI National and past president of the Boston Chapter of NIRI, where she currently serves as an Honorary Director. In 2013, NIRI National inducted her into the inaugural class of NIRI Fellows and in 2010, they recognized her for Individual Chapter Leadership. Additionally, she is past President of the Investor Relations Association and a founding member of the NIRI National Ethics Council.

Previously, she taught Investor Relations at the Graduate School of Communications Management at Simmons College and has been a guest lecturer at Bentley College and the University of Rhode Island.

Prior to beginning her career in investor relations in 1987, she held a number of positions professionally and in the community, including serving on the Chelmsford Zoning Board of Appeals, Traffic and Safety Committee and the Home Rule Advisory Committee. Additionally, she was a police officer, professional photographer and an Emergency Medical Technician.

Karen received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston College, Masters in Communications Management from Simmons College and her Associates Degree from Middlesex Community College. She currently serves on the board of Directors of The Founders Golf Club in Sarasota and has served on the board of various condominium associations.
